I once got a lot of requests to draw and I had a hard time saying NO. Well, I needed to. I always seemed to bite off more than I can chew, so I fell off commission-able status for a good two years while running away from all civilization.

Now I'm back, new and improved (I can sort of draw men now... orz...) with prices that hold real, monetary value (just what have I been doing with my life?!)

  1. Write up your order according to the procedures below.
  2. Write up what you'd like me to draw. Include other reference pictures if you have them. (Please use good spelling and grammar. I'm terrible with deciphering text-speak. Thank you!)
  3. Send to reasonxrhyme@gmail.com with the subject line titled Commissions - Your Name.
  4. I will discuss any pricing or stylistic details with you until we agree on an outcome.
  5. I will check with you at both the concept sketch and line art stages. OK them or reject them for continuation or revision.
  6. I will send you a sample final product with a heavy watermark. If that is OKed, please send payment to my paypal account (riyoku_sakimori@yahoo.com).
  7. Once I receive payment, I will send you the unwatermarked final product.

Select a price category
The price category serves as a base price or a flat service fee.

Basic ($4): A basic order is simple, often as minimal as line art with a dusting of color.
Medium ($10): A medium order is more detailed than a basic order, featuring a wider variety of colors and better quality.
High-End ($22): A high-end order features great detail and can be made high-resolution on request for print-quality. Because these orders are unpredictable, the end price often wavers.
Limited (??): In a limited order, the client sets a highest-price limit and the order will be made to or below that  price, depending on artist's mood. (Think of it as a 'chef's choice.') Final price is adjusted to final product.

♚ Select a style
The style decides what the prominent rendering technique will be although most pieces will combine multiple coloring styles.

Mystery (+$2): You never know what'll come out of Mystery.
Painted (+$2): Features a predominantly painted style.
Cellshade (+$3): Features a clean, soft cell-shade.
Sketched (+$0): A messy, sketchy rendering style.

♚ Select a size
The size determines how much of a figure will be drawn.
Head (Basic+$0, Medium+$2, High-End+$5-10): Usually from the neck up.

Bust  (Basic+$1, Medium+$4, High-End+$8-16) : Starts between ribs and shoulders.

Waist (Basic+$1.50, Medium+$5, High-End+$10-20)Starts between hips and ribs.
Knee/Full  (Basic+$2.50, Medium+$8, High-End+$16-32) : Starts between feet and lower thighs.

♚ You want fries with that?
Add-ons and bonuses.
Background (+$3-20): Honestly depends on what's going to be drawn. (I still need a lot of practice for background things...
Quality Boost (+??): Like a tip to make things a little shiner, smoother, or more detailed, but not up it to the next level of quality.
Chibi (-15%): Subtract 15% of end price for a chibi version.

♚ Alternative options
If none of the above suit your fancy.
Nothing But Sketch: Add price category to size, then divide in half for the price of a sketch.
Line Art: Add price category, cellshade, and size, then times 0.7 for line art price.
Anything else: If you have anything else in mind, discuss it with me through any of my contact options. I'm always open to alternative ideas. If you would like any sort of price adjustment, please talk to me about it over e-mail.
